Your Welcome driver will be at the pickup location you have selected at the time you have indicated.
Complimentary waiting time
Depending on the location your driver will be picking you from, Welcome offers a complimentary waiting time, meaning that your driver will wait for you for that time without any extra charges!
Our complimentary waiting times are as follows:
- Pickup from an Airport: 60 minutes
- Pickup from any other location: 15 minutes
Your complimentary waiting time starts counting from your selected pickup time, so do make sure that you have taken into account the time it will take you to reach the meeting point, especially when arriving at an airport (time needed for going through customs, collecting checked in luggage, etc.).
If your driver has not met with you and your complimentary waiting time is running out, your driver and/or our Customer Support team will try to contact you by phone / email / text, so please be mindful that you switch your mobile device on.
Meeting Point at the Budapest Airport
The transfer price includes a free waiting time of 1 hour
The meeting point depends on the class of the booked transfer:
— standard class or bus:
the driver waits in the airport parking lot and drives up to the terminal on a call
— executive class:
the driver will meet you with a sign in the arrival hall

Standard vehicles (all types) and Buses (all types) – meeting passengers is on call.
The driver will be waiting for the flight at the Holiday airport parking lot. He will send a message to the passenger’s phone number.
Once the passenger has picked up the luggage, he let the driver know about it.
The driver will get to the terminal to meet the passenger.
The meeting points are outside of the Terminal.
Terminal 2A – ZONA 4,
Terminal 2B – ZONA 8.
If the passenger (Standard vehicles (all types)) agrees to pay the extra charge of Premium parking, the driver can park the car near the Terminal on the Premium parking lot and meet the passenger in the arrival hall with a sign.
The Premium parking costs: 10 eur / 30 min
Buses (all types) – are not allowed to park near the Terminal.
All buses have to wait in the bus parking and get to the Terminal for pickup/drop off the passengers.
The meeting points are outside of the Terminal.
Terminal 2A – ZONA 5,
Terminal 2B – ZONA 7.
B). Business vehicles (all types) and Premium vehicles (all types, excluded VIP buses) – the driver waits for the passenger
in the arrival hall with a sign.
Extra Waiting Time & Charges
In cases where you are delayed in the airport unexpectedly or just need some extra time that exceeds your complimentary waiting time, we advise that you contact our Customer Support team as soon as possible.
Your driver might be able to wait for you for longer, but please be advised that the additional waiting time will result in an additional charge based on the vehicle type that has been assigned to your transfer.
